Morgan Hooker

In remembrance of our founding Principal who has passed on — a visionary who believed in creating vibrant cities that foster a sense of community and connection. We stand on the shoulders of a creative giant.

Morgan was a true visionary in the world of real estate and development. As a founding partner of High Street Real Estate & Development, he was instrumental in the company’s success and growth over the years. Morgan brought an extensive background in architecture, land planning, development, leasing strategies, and construction to the table. He was a licensed general contractor in several states for over 20 years, working closely with city staff, architects, and planners on a wide range of projects. His commitment to quality and attention to detail were evident in every project he worked on.

In addition to his work with High Street, Morgan was a respected member of several professional organizations, including the Congress for New Urbanism, the National Town Builders Association, and the Urban Land Institute. He was also honored by the American Institute of Architects for his contributions to the field.

Morgan was deeply committed to his community and believed in giving back. He served as a Board Member of Habitat for Humanity and as Chairman of the Developers and Contractors committee for the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. His passion for building and community involvement was evident in everything he did. He was a dreamer of all things good and had a way of making those around him feel valued and appreciated.

We hold fast to the teachings of our dear friend, colleague, and leader.
